The church thank you coffee gives everyone at Downey Coop Preschool a chance to thank everyone at Downey Christian Church for the support and use of our classrooms. It will be held in Century Hall on May 1st after church services.
Friday, April 8th. Money raised from the block walk will go toward helping maintain Downey Coop Preschool.
The frog's graduation is during school time on the last day of school May 18th.
The end-of-year picnic pitch-in at the shelter at Ellenberger Park is on May 19.
At our last board meeting, we decided upon make up days for the days lost to inclement weather this winter. Polliwogs’ last day will be May 17 and Frog graduation will be on May 18.
We hope to see everyone at the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23. This event is one of the ways the co-op and the church come together and reach out to the whole community. Everyone is required to help, either at the event or with preparation. The church also hosts a pancake breakfast the same morning, making for a fun, sweet start to the Easter weekend.
